20世紀にデニムの進化を表した【XX】をコンセプトに掲げ1937年から数年製造されたジーンズを再構築致しました。1937年当時のデニムに色と風合いを近づけ生地厚を加えます。
紡績段階で使用した糊がアイロン仕上げで溶けて固まる生デニム。生と水洗いを比較するとセルヴィッチ生地ならではのシュリンクが現れます。2019年10月から6ヶ月の試し履きで求める色落ちが確認出来ました。綿糸とセルヴィッチデニムの経年変化がアメリカンクラッシックの魅力です。

I will introduce the finished product of GARDENER 1937 with an image.
Selvedge denim evolves by increasing the thickness of the fabric.
With the concept of [XX], which represents the evolution of denim in the 20th century, we have reconstructed jeans manufactured for several years from 1937.
The color and texture of the denim from 1937 are brought closer to each other, and the fabric thickness is added.
Raw denim in which the glue used in the spinning stage melts and hardens with an iron finish. When comparing raw and washed with water, the shrink that is unique to Selvedge fabric appears.
We were able to confirm the desired discoloration after 6 months of trial wear from October 2019. The aging of cotton thread and selvedge denim is the charm of American classics.
